Shades of Green is a compleat recreational resort
and fun center, that is available only to active-duty and retired U.S. Armed Forces personnel from the armed forces,
as well as reserves, National Guard, active civilian employees of the Department of Defense, widows or widowers of service
members, disabled veterans, and Medal of Honor recipients.
Rates vary with your rank, but are significantly lower
than at Disney hotels open to the public. You'll find a Tuscan-style restaurant, a ballroom for weddings and other events,
11 family suites that sleep up to eight adults each, and two swimming pools surrounded by expansive decks and lush, tropical
foliage. Because the hotel is so popular, a three-night minimum stay is required. Disney provides shuttle bus service
to all Disney Parkes and Downtown Disney from the resort. The resort hotel has 586 rooms and 11 suites
all equipped with, in-room: safe, refrigerator, ethernet.
The hotel also offers 4 restaurants, room service,
bars, tennis courts, pools, gym, children's programs (ages 4-12), laundry facilities, laundry service, no-smoking rooms. AE,
