For Guests seeking a Home Away From Home Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas part of the Disney Vacation Club Family offers 383 villas, from Studios to Grand Villas, in surroundings that re-create the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the Atlantic seaside resorts of a bygone era. (You do not have to be a member of DVC to stay here).

Nearby is Disney's BoardWalk, a waterfront village with dining, shopping, and entertainment along a lively promenade, recapturing the charm and flavor of the 1930s mid-Atlantic coast. BoardWalk Guests will find convenience a way of life as they explore the many aspects of this waterfront village. Disney's BoardWalk, a 45-acre property located on the shores of Crescent Lake, is nestled between Epcot® and Disney-MGM Studios.

Resort Recreation & Shopping

Pools

Splish and splash at Luna Park, the 190,000 gallon pool that harkens back to the days of a 1920's amusement park. Ride the slippiest slide around, the 200 foot long Keister Coaster. Inner tubes and fun noodles are available for hourly and daily rentals. The Luna Park pool complex is reserved for guests of the BoardWalk Inn and Villas only. Stop by Community Hall for swimmers' aids and information on swimming lessons.

For those who like to enjoy an away-from-it-all swim, there is another pool located adjacent to the community hall, and a third pool at the outer edge of the BoardWalk Inn - nestled amongst the serenity of the Rose Courtyard. Lifeguards are not on duty.

Recreation

Muscles and Bustles Health Club - maintain your physique at Muscles and Bustles with free weights, life fitness, stairmaster and cybex exercise equipment, Our steam room, sauna, tanning bed and massage therapies are available to increase flexibility and enhance overall relaxation. Muscles and Bustles is located adjacent to Side Show Games Arcade, facing the courtyard green. All BoardWalk Inn and Villa guests are welcome for a nominal fee. Open from 6:00am - 9:00pm daily. $10 per day, $20 for length of your stay, and $35 family rate for the length of your stay. Call the Health Club directly on (407) 939-2370

Fishing - if you're hooked on fishing, then don't miss the boat. Take our two-hour guided fishing tours on Crescent Lake and Lake Hollywood. You'll be escorted to the best spots to catch whopper-sized big mouth bass, catfish and other fresh water fish. The excursion includes all the Zebco fishing gear you'll need as well as complimentary snacks and beverages. Tours run every morning and a 24-hour notice is required. Feel free to fish off our canal as equipment is available for rent in the community hall. Children's fishing programs are also available. Tennis - if you're ready to make a "racket", enjoy our two lighted, surfaced tennis courts located by Disney's BoardWalk Villas. The courts are free to all Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villa guests. Reservations can be made at community hall. Rental equipment is available. Private instruction and clinics are available from our Peter Burwash International tennis Professionals. Surreys - for those wishing to circle Crescent Lake via pedal power, surrey rentals are available on the Village Green.

For Kids

Side Show Games Arcade - let the games begin! Test your hand at our wide assortment of classic stand-up, skill and pinball games at the Side Show Games Arcade, located next to Muscles and Bustles. With a little bit of the old, there's also a little bit of the new as we feature a number of the latest computer and video games for all ages.

Disney's Character Carnival - Mickey, Minnie and all the gang are down at Disney's BoardWalk! Find all your favourite Disney characters in a wide array of children's apparel and accessories, plus a huge selection of Disney merchandise for all ages. Open 9am-12midnight.

Screen Door General Store - visit our old-fashioned, friendly neighborhood General Store for groceries, dry goods, snacks and beverages. Open Monday-Thursday 8am-12midnight; Friday-Saturday 8am-1am.

Thimble & Threads - resort apparel, swimwear and accessories for men and women with impeccable taste. Open 9am-12midnight.

Dundy's sundries - for those little things in life. Come to Dundy's for film, gifts, souvenirs and personal items. Located in the main lobby. Open 7am-11pm.

Wyland Galleries - the contemporary American style of Wyland is at the BoardWalk. Wyland Galleries displays this distinctive movement in environmental art, depicting marine animals in their beautiful natural settings. Over 66 Wyland murals are seen worldwide by 1 billion people each year. Browse through the gallery and enjoy these stunning works of art for yourself.

Transportation

One of the privileges of being lakeside is the boat transportation, the Friendship launches, are available to take guests to Epcot® and the Disney-MGM Studios®. However the World Showcase at Epcot® is close enough to walk to, and only takes about 5-10 minutes. Boats leave the dock every 20 minutes and also travel to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts®, and the Swan and Dolphin hotels as well to pick up guests. To get to the bus stop, turn right as you exit the lobby and walk towards the conference center and turn right to the bus shelter. 

Magic Kingdom® Park: Guests can take a bus directly to the Magic Kingdom® Park or walk to Epcot®, take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center and transfer to the Magic Kingdom® Park monorail. 

Epcot®: Guests can walk to the rear entrance of Epcot®, the International Gateway in less than 10 minutes. Besides walking, the Friendship water launches can provide you with a leisurely, air-conditioned shuttle to Epcot®. Leisurely, in that it could take up to 20 minutes, as the launch stops at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts® as well as the Swan and Dolphin hotels. 

Disney-MGM Studios®: The Friendship launches transport guests to Disney-MGM Studios® with stops at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts® dock and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts® dock as well.

DINNING

There are many options available at this location but here are just a few.

Disney's BoardWalk Resort offers a wide variety of top-notch dining and entertainment options.

Flying Fish Cafe: The contemporary, yet whimsical look of this restaurant only serves to add to its award-winning cuisine. Entrees may change to reflect seasonal offerings, but basically it is American cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. Seared tuna, Atlantic salmon, and Potato-wrapped Yellow Tail Snapper are served as well as steaks, roasted spring chicken, chops and a mixed seafood grill. Open for dinner, the hours are Sunday to Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Spoodles: If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, you must try Spoodles. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered here. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and features a buffet of Continental breakfast items, standard breakfast fare such as eggs, bacon, ham and sausage, vegetable frittatas, and breakfast pizzas, as well as made to order crepes and French Toast. From noon to 2 p.m., lunch is served. At lunch tapas, soups, salads, pasta, focaccia sandwiches, and seasonal entrees such as Paella, and various chicken and seafood dishes are offered. Dishes from Spain, France, North Africa, Italy and Greece are the features at dinner. Entrees such as Seared tuna, Atlantic salmon, bass and other seafood, lamb and chicken dishes are offered. Dinner hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

TIP: A take-out window serves pizza and salads for a quick meal or snack.

Big River Grille and Brewing Works: The Big River Grille and Brewing Works offers five handcrafted specialty beers daily, as well as traditional pub fare. Lunch and dinner are served and food is served from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, with last call in the brewery at 1:30 a.m.. Entrees include pub pie, fresh sausages, baby back ribs, tuna, beef tenderloin, meatloaf, gourmet burgers and hot sandwiches. This microbrewery displays huge stainless steel vats and brewing equipment behind glass walls so patrons can see the brewing process. More information on this process is written on the back of the menus.

ESPN Club®: Die-hard sports fans will be in sports heaven in this restaurant! There are more than eighty televisions scattered throughout the club including in the restrooms, so that fans don't miss a single minute. Television monitors provide just about every sport imaginable, so fans can watch golf, tennis, baseball, and football simultaneously! The food is standard sports bar fare. Appetizers offered are shrimp, dips, Buffalo wings, nachos, and salads. The "starting lineup" includes burgers, hot dogs, hot sandwiches, and pasta. Open for lunch and dinner, the hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. A side room has video games and sells sports themed merchandise.

Also along the boardwalk, you'll find the BoardWalk Bakery. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (11 p.m. in the summer months), guests can find fresh baked goods such as muffins, rolls, cookies, croissants, cakes and breads, as well as cappuccino and espresso. Seashore Sweets is an old fashioned sweet shop. Famous boardwalk salt-water taffy, hand-dipped gelato, cookies, and candy are the temptations here. Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight. Small food stands that serve popcorn, frozen treats, specialty coffees, and crepe delights are scattered along the boardwalk, with limited operating hours.

On Disney's BoardWalk Inn side of the resort you'll find the Bellevue Room. A continental breakfast is sold from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. From 5 p.m. to midnight, a full bar and cold appetizers are offered. In a 1930's style sitting room, guests can relax and listen to nostalgic radio shows, read or play board games. Full room service is available 24 hours a day.
